Garden Court

Our restaurant is part of the President Cottage Resort, located at P 8 on Ajanta Road in Jalgaon. We are right near the SBI MIDC branch, so we get a lot of bank employees and people working in the industrial area coming in for lunch. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate of the resort to get to us. The setting is quite open, which is a nice change from the dusty factories nearby. We have a lot of tables to look after, and during the midday heat, everyone wants to sit under the fans. We aren't a high-end dining hall, just a practical place for people staying at the resort or working nearby to get a meal. The staff here is mostly local, and we’ve all worked together for a long time. Sometimes we host small parties or meetings for the businesses in the MIDC area. It can get pretty hectic then. We try to keep the food coming out hot and on time. The menu is just standard stuff that everyone likes. We don't go in for any of that modern fusion food. Just honest cooking that fills you up. The garden around us needs a lot of water in the summer, but it keeps the place looking okay. We’re just a regular part of the Jalgaon business scene, doing our thing every day.
