Om Sai South Indian Corner

Our little corner is located at Shop No 4 in Jilha Peth, right here in Jalgaon. We are situated just opposite Court Chowk, so there are always people walking around, especially during the day when the courts are open. We focus mostly on South Indian food because that is what we enjoy making. It’s a small space, so you might have to wait a minute for a seat during the busy lunch hour. We don't have a huge staff, just a few people who have been with us for a long time. The address is 425001 if you are looking it up. We try to keep the kitchen organized, but it gets busy when multiple orders for dosas come in at once. You can hear the batter hitting the tawa and the smell of sambar throughout the shop. Most of our customers are people working in the offices nearby or folks coming from the court. It’s a practical place to get a quick meal that doesn’t cost too much. We aren't trying to be a fancy restaurant. It’s just a shop where we cook every day. We’ve been in Jilha Peth for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a bit, but we stay the same. We open up, clean the floors, and get the steam going. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. Nothing more to it than that, really.
