We are up on the third floor of the Sahota Complex on Garha Road. If you know the area, it’s a pretty busy stretch of road with a lot of shops and offices squeezed in together. Rooms 104 and 105 are where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s not a huge space, but it fits our desks and the technical drawings we work on. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just looking at the rooftops and the traffic below. We do engineering work, mostly the smaller, more detailed stuff that requires a bit of patience. The team here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are drafting. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. We aren't into big sales pitches or trying to sound like a giant firm. People come to us when they need something specific handled right. We go through a lot of coffee and tea while we figure out technical problems. It’s a quiet kind of place, except for the noise from Garha Road leaking in. We just focus on the work on our desks.
