Our workshop is located at Hind Road Industrial Area, and our post box is No. 525. We have been in this spot for quite some time now, and the building definitely shows its age. Hind Road can get pretty muddy when the monsoon hits, but we are used to it. Inside the gate, it’s mostly the smell of machine oil and the sound of iron moving around. We are an engineering firm, so there’s always something being fabricated or measured. We have some old lathes and a few newer machines that we bought a couple of years back. The office is a small room at the front with a fan that clicks and a lot of old files. We don't spend much time in there anyway; we are usually out on the floor seeing how the work is going. Our team is small, mostly local guys who live nearby. We don't go in for big mission statements or fancy brochures. If someone needs something made, they bring us a sample or a rough drawing on a piece of paper, and we figure it out together. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step because there’s always a piece of scrap metal or a tool on the floor. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day, and that’s plenty for us. Hind Engineers has been part of this landscape for as long as I can remember.
