Harit Kheti Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is based in Vpo Haripur, which is under the Nakodar tehsil. Harit Kheti is all about the farming life we have here in this part of Punjab. We’re a producer company, so it’s a group of us local farmers who pooled our resources together. Haripur is a quiet place, and most of us have been farming these lands for as long as we can remember. We decided to make it official with this company name, but the work hasn't changed much. We still spend our mornings in the fields and our evenings talking about the market. The office is just a simple space in the village where we keep our records and meet to make decisions. Nakodar is the closest big town, so we head there whenever we need things we can't get in the village. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy website. It’s just us, the people who grow the food, trying to get a better handle on the business side. Sometimes we disagree on what to plant or when to sell, but that's just part of working with your neighbors. We’re just trying to keep the farming tradition going while making it work in the modern world. There's a lot of sweat and hard work involved, but it’s what we know how to do. We're just a small group from Haripur making our way and hoping the weather stays on our side.
