India Seeds Syndicate is located right outside the Sabzi Mandi. It’s a perfect spot for us because that’s where all the action is. Every morning, the market is buzzing with people buying and selling vegetables, and we are right there in the middle of it. We provide the seeds that eventually end up as produce in that very market. Our shop is small and usually a bit messy with open sacks and paperwork scattered around. We don't mind the chaos; it means business is moving. We talk to farmers all day long about their crops and the weather. Most of our customers have been coming to us since we first opened. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just sell good seeds at a fair price. The noise from the Mandi can be a lot sometimes, but you get used to it. We keep our prices written on a chalkboard and our records in a big old book. It’s a very hands-on way to run a business. When the market closes for the day, things finally quiet down a bit and we can rest. We've seen a lot of people come and go over the years, but we stay right here by the gate. It's a practical business for practical people. We don't need anything more than a dry roof and a steady stream of customers.
