Anandyomayee Agro

Anandyomayee Agro is right on the G.T. Road. If you find the Devi Talab Hospital Dada, we are just across from it. The road is always packed with trucks and cars. It gets quite noisy during the day. We deal with agricultural supplies and stuff like that. Most of our visitors are farmers or people from the nearby villages. They come in looking for seeds or tools. We keep the shop open early because that is when people are out doing their errands. The building is old but it stays cool inside. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. Just shelves and bags of stuff stacked up. G.T. Road is a busy place to be, and there is always something happening outside the door. Sometimes we sit on the bench outside when things are quiet. The hospital brings a lot of people to this area, so we see many different faces every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around. We just want to have what people need when they stop by. It is a simple life here. We close up when the street lights come on. It is honest work and it keeps us going. The seasons change what we sell, so we are always moving things around. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we just sweep it out every morning.
