Gee Ess Engineering Works

Our workshop is at 6-A in Sodal Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to some of the bigger industrial hubs, which we actually like. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be smart about where we put the lathes and the drill presses. We’ve had this spot for a long time and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes scribbled in marker. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows where every tool is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We do a lot of custom engineering work, so every day is a little bit different. One day we are fixing a part for a local machine and the next we are working on a bigger order that takes up the whole floor. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a marketing guy telling us what to say. We just answer the phone and talk to people about what they need built. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the truck gets stuck, but we deal with it. The guys here have been working with metal for decades. We just care about making sure the threads are clean and the fit is tight. It’s a basic engineering shop. We work hard, we close up in the evening, and we come back the next morning to do it all again.
