Chawla Snax Point

We’re located at shop number 6 in the Red Cross Market, right by the New Sabzi Mandi. It’s a very busy area, especially early in the morning when the vegetable market is in full swing. We do snacks, mostly things that people can grab quickly while they’re out doing their shopping. The shop isn’t very big, just a small counter and some space in the back where we prep everything. It gets pretty hot inside because of the fryers and the stove going all day. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of fans that try their best. Most of our customers are folks who work in the Mandi or people passing through the market. We don’t have a fancy menu with photos; we just tell you what we’ve got ready that day. Sometimes we run out of things by lunchtime if it’s been a busy morning. The floor gets a bit messy with all the foot traffic, but we try to sweep it whenever there’s a quiet moment. We’ve been here in the Red Cross Market for quite a while now. It’s a loud, crowded place, but we like being part of the noise. We aren’t trying to be a high-end restaurant. We just want to serve decent snacks to the people who are hungry. It’s a straightforward shop run by a few of us who work hard every day to keep things moving.
