Mirchi The Food Plaza

We are over at Chatti Khuhli on Sarai Road in Phagwara. It’s a decent sized place, which is why we called it a Food Plaza. We wanted to have enough room for everyone to sit comfortably. Phagwara is a lively place and being on Sarai Road puts us right in the middle of things. We’ve got a mix of things on the menu. It's not just one type of food. We noticed people around here like to have options when they go out to eat. The building is simple and we keep the interior plain so the focus stays on the food. It’s mostly families who come in on the weekends, while the weekdays are busier with people working nearby. We buy our supplies from the local mandi to make sure things are fresh. It’s a lot of work managing the inventory, but it’s worth it. My uncle and I handle most of the daily operations. We don’t have any fancy titles; we just do whatever needs doing, whether it’s taking orders or helping in the back. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. You won't find any formal dress codes here. Just come as you are and eat. We’ve had some ups and downs like any business, but we’re still here serving the community. That’s pretty much the story of our little plaza and we hope to keep going for years.
