Basant Food Plaza

Basant Food Plaza is located in Shop Number 2 A, right in the heart of Model Town Market. We are very close to the post office there. If you’ve ever gone shopping in Model Town, you’ve probably walked past our shop many times. It’s a small place, not much room to move around when it’s busy. We mostly focus on quick meals and snacks that people can grab while they are out doing their errands. We have a few small tables but a lot of people just stand and eat or take their food to their cars. It’s a noisy, lively place because the market is always buzzing with people and delivery scooters. We start early in the morning to get everything ready before the other shops open up. The kitchen isn't very big, so we have to be very organized to make sure the food comes out on time. Sometimes we make mistakes when it’s really crowded, but we always try to fix it right away. We don't have a big menu with too many options. We just do a few things that we know how to make well. It’s a local spot where you can see the same faces every single day. We enjoy being in Model Town because there is always something happening on the street. It’s just us, making food in a small shop for the people in the neighborhood.
