S S Food Junction

Our food junction is right on Gakhal Road in Jalandhar. We are located in Basti Danishmanda, very close to St Soldier College. Because we are so near the college, we get a lot of students hanging out here throughout the day. The 144002 area is quite lively and there is always something happening on the street outside. We started this place because we wanted to serve the kind of food that we like to eat. It isn't a fancy restaurant with a lot of rules. It’s just a spot where you can grab a chair and have a quick bite. The kitchen is small but we keep it moving fast, especially when the college classes let out. We serve a bit of everything that's popular locally. It can get a bit loud and messy when the place is full of kids, but we don't mind the noise. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen several groups of students graduate and move on. The building is just a regular shop on Gakhal Road and it doesn't have any big signs or bright lights. We rely on the people who live nearby and the students to keep us going. We try to keep the prices fair because we know students don't have a lot of extra money. It’s just a plain, simple food stall run by people who live right here in Jalandhar. Nothing fancy about it.
