Babadeep Industry

Our place is over at Plot A-35 in the Industries Department Colony. It’s a typical industrial area in Jalandhar West, lots of noise and activity during the day. We’ve been set up here for a good amount of time, mostly focusing on manufacturing parts and things like that. The workshop is usually a bit messy because there’s always something being worked on. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, so most people just walk right into the production area to find someone. It can be a bit confusing finding the right plot if you aren’t used to the colony layout, but we’re tucked in there between some other workshops. The machines run most of the day. It’s a small crew of us, just local guys who know how to handle the tools. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything, just look at the drawings and get to work. Sometimes the power goes out, which is annoying, but we just take a break until it comes back. It’s steady work. We see the same faces coming in for orders every week. We like it this way, keeping things simple and just getting the job done. Jalandhar is a busy town for this kind of stuff, so there’s always something to keep us occupied. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets covered in materials for a few days.
