Aman Engineering Corp.

Aman Engineering Corp. is located right on G.T. Road in Chachoki. Being on such a big road means we see a lot of traffic and heavy trucks all day. It gets very dusty inside the workshop because of all the vehicles passing by. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work for industrial machines. My father started this place a long time ago and I have been working here since I was a teenager. We have a few old lathes and a big drilling machine that have seen a lot of use. The roof is made of tin, so it gets very loud when it rains. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. There is just a wooden desk where I keep the files and the phone. Sometimes customers come in with parts from their tractors or factory machines that have snapped. We spend the day grinding and welding to fix them up. It is hard on the eyes and the back but it is what we know how to do. Chachoki is a small place but everyone knows we are here on the main road. We don't really do any advertising at all. People just see the sign or hear about us from their friends. We stay open until late if there is a big project that needs finishing. It is just honest, messy work and we are used to the grease and the noise.
