Civil Lines is a nice part of the city, and we’ve been here at Mayur Complex for a bit now. It’s on Raj Bhawan Marg, so it’s easy enough to find. Inside the office at B-1, it’s mostly just rows of computers and a bunch of cables running across the floor. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing away. The building itself is older, but it stays cool enough. There’s a tea stall nearby that everyone goes to during the afternoon break. It’s not a very loud office, mostly just the clicking of keyboards and some occasional talking when someone hits a snag with a line of code. We have a small corner for files and stuff that we probably should have organized better by now. The parking outside can be a bit of a nightmare if you arrive after ten, so most of the guys try to get in early. It’s a pretty standard workspace for a software team. We don’t have those bean bags or fancy stuff you see in movies, just regular chairs and desks that get the job done. Sometimes the power flickers, but the backup usually kicks in right away. We’ve been working on various projects for local clients and some further away. It’s just us, working through the pile of tasks every day and hoping the internet connection stays stable throughout the afternoon.
