Uj Jewellery Mart

Johri Bazar is a place where everyone knows everyone, and Uj Jewellery Mart is right in the middle of it. We are up on the third floor of the Vardhman Complex, room 308. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how crowded and loud it can be with all the shoppers and scooters. Our office is a bit of an escape from that noise, though you can still hear the bells from the street below. We deal in jewelry like most people around here do. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing too formal. We sit on the floor or at low desks and look at stones or gold pieces for hours. Customers come in, have some tea, and we talk about what they need. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology. A lot of our work is still done by hand or with simple tools that have been around for years. The building itself is old, so the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve thought about moving to a more modern place, but our roots are here in Johri Bazar. It wouldn't feel right anywhere else. We don’t have a big website or a bunch of advertisements. Word of mouth is how most people find us. We just try to be fair and do a good job so people come back next time they need something for their family.
