We've been out here on Delhi Road for quite a while now. It’s about 10 kilometers past the main milestone at Kukas. If you’re coming from the city, you’ll see the Shiv Vilas resort right across from us. It’s a bit of a drive, but the students get used to it. Most of the days are just about keeping the labs running and making sure the classrooms are okay for everyone. The Rajasthan heat can get pretty bad in the middle of the day, so we try to keep things moving early. People often ask where exactly we are because the milestone can be tricky if you aren't looking. We just point them toward Achrol. There is a lot of space out here compared to being stuck right in the middle of town. Our staff usually comes in from Jaipur or nearby villages. It isn't anything fancy, just a place where folks come to learn engineering and figure out their future. You’ll see students hanging around the gate waiting for the buses quite often. The local tea shops nearby do a lot of business when the classes let out. It gets quiet in the evenings once the last bus leaves. We just focus on the daily stuff, making sure the power stays on and the books are in the library. It is a straightforward kind of place to work. We aren't looking to be the biggest, just to keep doing what we do every day.
