The Pals Gallery

Our shop is at 43/37/3 on Swarn Path, right off Madhyam Marg in Mansarovar. Mansarovar is so huge that sometimes even the delivery guys get confused, but Swarn Path is a nice enough street once you find it. We’ve been running the gallery here for a bit, and it’s mostly just us doing the day-to-day work. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stands, so it stays relatively calm compared to the big markets. We spend a lot of time just looking at the walls and deciding where things should go. It isn't a high-end place with marble floors or anything like that. The floor is just regular tile, and the lighting is what we could manage to install ourselves. We like the neighborhood because it feels residential and lived-in. You see the same families walking their dogs or going to the park every evening. We keep the doors open when the breeze is good, though we have to watch out for the leaves blowing in. Running a place like this takes a lot of patience because some days are very slow. We just use those quiet times to tidy up or drink another cup of tea. It is our little corner of the world, and we are just trying to keep it going one day at a time without making a big fuss about it.
