Satguru Art N Fames - Raja Park

Down here at Raja Park Arya Samaj Road 122 - 123, things stay pretty busy at Satguru Art N Fames. If you walk into the shop, you will probably see bits of wood shavings and scraps of cardboard on the floor. That is just how a framing shop is. We spend most of our day measuring things out and cutting glass to fit whatever people bring in. It might be a picture of someone’s grandfather or a new poster they bought online. Sometimes the corners of the frames do not line up perfectly on the first try, so we have to trim them again until they do. The shop is not very large, and it is packed with different styles of molding from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming to look at all the colors and patterns. Raja Park is a lively area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the door. We have lived around here for years and know the other shopkeepers on the block. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools without cutting our fingers. It is honest work, and it feels good to see a finished frame sitting on the counter ready to go. We do not spend much time on fancy talk, we just get the orders done and move on to the next one. It has been this way for a long time.
