Satguru Art N Frames

We spend most of our time at B-75 on M I Road surrounded by wood molding and glass. It is a bit of a dusty job, really. Every morning starts with wiping down the counters and checking the orders people left the day before. Someone might bring in a wedding photo that needs a simple black frame, while the next person has an old oil painting from their grandmother that requires something much thicker. Satguru Art N Frames has been here for a good while now. The traffic outside on MI Road never seems to stop, but inside, things move a bit slower. It takes time to get the corners just right. If you cut the glass a millimeter off, you have to start all over again. Most days we are just back there with the saw and the stapler. It isn’t fancy work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because of where we are located. We usually have bits of tape stuck to our fingers by noon. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. There are stacks of frame samples leaning against the walls and boxes of glass under the tables. We just try to get the jobs done by the time people say they need them. Sometimes we run late if a shipment of wood doesn't show up. That is just how it goes here in the shop.
