I set up here on Amer Road quite some time ago. Being near the Hawan Mahal Road means there's always something going on outside the window. It is a busy part of the city, especially with the bank, SBBJ, being so close by. My workspace is at number 465, and it’s usually filled with the sounds of the street. I handle my daily tasks from this office, mostly dealing with people who walk in or call about various things. It’s not a large place, just enough room for a couple of people to sit and talk. I’ve always preferred being in the thick of it rather than tucked away in some quiet office park where nothing ever happens. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the bikes and cars zooming past all day. I spend a lot of time at my desk organizing schedules and making sure nothing gets missed. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. I don't use much fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. Sometimes it gets a little dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we just wipe it down and keep going. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. People know me in this area as someone who is always around if they need something. I don’t take many days off because there is always a list of things waiting for me on the desk. This is just how life is on Amer Road for me. It’s a good spot to be.
