Our warehouse and office are located at G-999/1000 in the Sitapura Industrial Area Extension. It’s a huge area with lots of blocks and numbers that all look the same if you aren’t careful. We’ve been here for quite some time now, handling different types of gums. The space is big, with high ceilings and rows of pallets stacked high. It’s usually quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open to get a bit of a breeze. There’s always the sound of tape dispensers and the heavy thud of bags being moved. We aren't much for fancy decorations; the walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and safety notices. Our crew is hardworking and they know the routine inside out. We spend our mornings checking the stock and getting orders ready for shipping. It’s a lot of physical work, but nobody complains much. We usually have a big pot of tea going in the corner of the office for whenever anyone needs a break. The Sitapura area is always busy with trucks and workers, so there is a lot of energy around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the gums processed and sent out. It’s what we know how to do best. It isn't complicated, but it takes a lot of effort to keep things running smoothly every day for everyone involved.
