Our office is in the Sukhi Jeevan Complex, right at P-1. We are located on Jacob Road, which is almost always crowded because it's so near the Ajmer Pulia. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is around the bridge. Being in this complex means there are always people coming and going. The air in the office usually has that city smell of dust and exhaust from the road outside. We spend the day dealing with the usual paperwork and calls. It’s not a quiet place, but the noise helps us stay focused in a weird way. The lights are those long tubes that buzz a little if you listen closely. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are probably too full for their own good. The walls are a neutral color that doesn't really stand out. Most mornings start with someone bringing in a stack of newspapers and a thermos of tea. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or anything. It's just open space where everyone can talk to each other without having to get up. When it rains, the sound on the roof of the complex is really loud. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of the neighborhood over time. It’s a solid place to work from and being near the Pulia makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is a headache.
