Being at the Sanganer New Sabji Mandi Terminal Market in Muhana is a lot of hard work every day. We are specifically located at stall A 12. Most people start their day way before the sun even thinks about coming up, and we are no different from the rest. Dealing with onions means you’re always around that specific sharp smell and plenty of dust from the jute sacks. It’s a busy place with huge trucks coming in from all over the country and laborers moving things around constantly. Our spot at A 12 stays packed with bags most of the week. It isn't a clean or quiet job, but it is the work we know. The market can be a bit chaotic with everyone shouting prices and trying to get their carts through the crowded aisles. We’ve been here for a good long while now. You get used to the noise and the fast pace after a couple of months of working here. People come to see us because we’re right there in the middle of the Terminal Market. There’s no fancy office or air conditioning here, just the wooden crates and the piles of onions. We keep our head down and just handle the daily loads that come in. Sometimes the weather makes things really hard, like when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but the market never really stops for anything. It’s just how life is at Muhana A 12. We are just local folks working.
