You can find us at Ashok Nagar Mode, right near the Ashish Kirana Store on Niwaru Road. Jhotwara is a busy place and this road is one of the main veins for the traffic around here. Arun Foods has been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s a bit of a landmark for us, being so close to the kirana store where everyone stops. The noise from the bikes and the rickshaws is constant, but you stop hearing it after an hour. Inside, we have a lot of stuff going on with the food supplies. It isn't a silent office; there is always the sound of bags moving or people talking loudly to be heard over the street noise. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone is usually there behind a desk or moving some boxes. The walls have some old calendars on them and the floors are swept every morning but the dust from Niwaru Road always finds its way back in. We work long hours because food doesn't wait for anyone. Sometimes we grab a snack from the shop next door when things get too hectic. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. Just a bunch of us working in Jhotwara to keep things moving along.
