You can find Soni Art India at number 29 on the ground floor of the Bairathi Complex. We are right near Hotel Evergreen in the Chameliwala Market area. It’s a very lively spot to be in most days. Our shop is filled with various pieces and materials. We do a lot of creative work here. This isn't a quiet gallery where you have to whisper and walk softly. It's more of a workshop where things are being made and moved around all the time. There is usually dust from the materials and the smell of whatever we are working with that day. We started this because we liked making things by hand. The market is always buzzing, and our little shop fits right in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when we have a big project going on, but we always find a way to make it work. We don't have any fancy sales people. If you come in, you'll likely talk to the same people who are actually doing the work. We use simple tools and try to get all the little details right. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s satisfying to see something finished at the end of the week. People stop by to ask questions or just to see what’s new on the floor. We keep the doors open and just get on with our tasks. This has been our home for many years now. We have seen the market change quite a bit over that time.
