Silver Creations Pvt Ltd

We have been here in Johari Bazar for quite a long time now. If you know this part of Jaipur, you know how crowded and noisy it gets, especially near the LMB Hotel. Our place, Silver Creations Pvt Ltd, is tucked away at 1403, right behind the hotel in Partaniyon Ka Rasta. It is very close to Patnawalon Ki Haweli. The lanes are narrow and sometimes the rickshaws get stuck, making it hard for us to move big boxes around. Most mornings start with us opening the heavy shutters and sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street. It is an old building with high ceilings, but it stays pretty warm in the summer. We spend our days working on the silver pieces under these small desk lamps. It is not a very fancy setup, just some sturdy tables and a few old chairs that creak when you sit down. We get our tea from the vendor at the corner of the Rasta twice a day. Usually, we are just busy with the small details of the work and trying to keep everything organized in the drawers. People often stop by just to ask for directions to the Haweli because they get lost in these winding paths. We do not mind. We just tell them where to turn and go back to our stools. It is a simple life here in the bazar, really.
