Jaipur Silver

Jaipur Silver is tucked away at S. No. 34 A-1 in Chameliwala Market, right off M. I. Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We have silver pieces tucked into every drawer and cabinet we could find. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we generally know where everything is. The lighting isn't the best in the back, so we do most of our work near the front window where there is more sun. We don't have any professional decorators or anything like that. We just put things where they fit. My brother and I usually run the place together. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because they get smudged so easily by people leaning on them. M. I. Road is always buzzing with energy, which makes the day go by faster. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town or anything. We just like what we do and we have been doing it at this same spot for a long time. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just open up, sell some silver, and keep the books as best as we can. It’s a simple business.
