It’s right there near the highway so we get a lot of trucks and heat coming off the road. Working in a village setting like Pahari is different because everyone knows what you are doing before you even do it. We deal with edible products and that means we have to be careful about how we store things and how we handle the daily transport. The office is basically just a room where we keep our logs and take calls. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception desk. Usually, there is some tea being made and someone is talking about the weather or the price of goods. It can be a struggle when the power goes out or when the road gets blocked, but we just wait it out. Most of us grew up around this area so we are used to the conditions. We started the company because we wanted to stay local instead of moving to the city for work. It is not always the most exciting job but it is what we know how to do.
