Shri Narmada Arts

Shri Narmada Arts is based out of the Jhotwara Sarna Dungar Industrial Area. Our unit is at G-1-136. If you have ever been to Sarna Dungar, you know it is a place where things are being made. There is a lot of noise from the neighboring factories and the sound of heavy machinery is constant. Our space is basically a large shed where we do all our work. It can get very hot under the tin roof in the summer, so we have several large fans running all the time to keep the air moving. The floor is usually covered in dust and materials, but that is just how it is in an industrial zone like this. We have a small corner with a desk where we handle the orders and talk to the people who come to visit us. It is a long way from the city center, so we usually bring our lunch and stay here for the whole day. There are not many places to eat nearby, just a few small stalls selling tea and snacks to the factory workers. We have been at this location for some time now, and we have gotten used to the rough environment. It is about the work for us, not about having a fancy office. Most of our days are spent getting our hands dirty and making sure everything is finished on time. It is hard work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing things get finished.
