Shri Bhola Mishtan Bhandar

You can find Shri Bhola Mishtan Bhandar right at the main bus stand in Rajawas on Sirsi Road. Being by the bus stand means it’s always busy with people coming and going. We see a lot of tired travelers looking for a hot tea or a piece of barfi while they wait for their ride. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We start the stove before the sun comes up to get the first batch of samosas ready for the early buses. It gets quite loud with the buses honking outside, but we’ve stopped noticing it after all these years. The floor is made of old tiles and some are a bit cracked, but we keep it swept. We don't have a menu on the wall, we just tell people what we made fresh that day. Sometimes the tea is a bit too sweet, but most people like it that way. We use milk from the local dairies nearby. It’s just a regular life for us, serving snacks and sweets to folks passing through. We don't do any delivery or anything like that. If you want something, you just come to the counter. It’s a humble spot, and we are just here to do our work. We've been part of this bus stand for as long as I can remember, watching the world go by.
