Shree Shyam Sweets

If you go over to the Khatipura Tempo Stand, you will see us there at number 192. Shree Shyam Sweets has been at this spot for quite some time. Being right by the tempo stand means there is a lot of noise and people moving around all day long. It is a loud place with all the drivers shouting and the engines running, but it keeps the area lively. We open up early in the morning to get the first batch of stuff ready before the morning rush starts. Most of our days are spent behind the counter, talking to people who are just passing through or waiting for their ride. The shop at 192 isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when five or six people come in at once. We just do our work and keep the glass cases filled up. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until late in the evening. Some days are hotter than others, especially when the stoves are going in the back, but you get used to it after a while. We don't really bother with big signs or loud music, we just stay at our spot near the stand and wait for the regulars to show up. It is a simple life running a sweet shop in Khatipura, and we are just happy to be here keeping the shelves full for everyone.
