Shree Radhey Namkeen Bhandar

Shree Radhey Namkeen Bhandar is our little shop on Surpur Road in Pratap Nagar, specifically at 62/119. We mostly deal with namkeen and different types of savory snacks. Every morning we start by heating up the oil in large iron vats. The smell of spices and frying dough fills the whole street after a while. We don’t have any fancy robots to make our snacks; we still do most of it by hand or with basic cutters. It’s a bit of a messy job because flour gets everywhere, even on our clothes. We see the same people coming in every day, mostly neighbors or folks living nearby in Pratap Nagar. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a single shop trying to make enough snacks for the day. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening because we only make a set amount. The shelves are just wooden planks and the lighting isn't great, but it works for us. We don't use any shiny packaging with models on them, just plain bags that we seal up. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day near the heat, but this is what we do. If you walk down Surpur Road, you can't miss the smell of the spices coming from our place. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It is just a simple way to make a living.
