Shree Govindam Sweets

Shree Govindam Sweets is located at 97 in Vaishali Nagar. It’s been our main spot for a while now. The neighborhood is usually quite busy, especially in the late evenings when people are out for a stroll. We open the shutters early when the air is still cool and fresh. Most of the staff has been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to make sure the stuff we put on the shelves is fresh and decent. You won’t find any glossy brochures or fancy signs here. It’s just a counter, some scales, and a lot of steel containers. People drop by for a quick bite or to pick up something for their families. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the day go by faster when you can have a chat with the neighbors. The kitchen in the back is where most of the hard work happens. It’s a bit cramped but we manage to get things done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to see, but we just keep going. That’s just part of running a shop at Vaishali Nagar 97. We take things as they come. There is no real rush here. We just make what we can and hope the locals like it. It’s a simple life for us. We don’t ask for much more than that. We just stay here and work.
