Shirdi Sai Arts

Shirdi Sai Arts is located at No. 290 on Road No. 2. If you’re looking for us, we’re basically right behind the Durgapura Railway Station in Shanti Nagar. You can hear the trains coming and going all day, which you eventually just stop noticing after a while. Our space is filled with all sorts of things we’ve been working on. It’s an art place, so there’s paint, wood, and different materials scattered around most of the time. We aren’t a gallery where everything is perfect and white. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. Shanti Nagar is a nice enough place to be based. We get a mix of people stopping by—some who are just curious and others who know exactly what they want us to create for them. We started this because we liked making things with our hands. It’s not always easy and sometimes a project takes much longer than we thought it would. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the craft. We usually have the radio on and just keep at it until the sun goes down. If you’re walking from the station, it’s just a short trip around the back to find us. We don’t do much advertising. We just figure if the work is okay, people will keep coming back to Road No. 2.
