Shantanu Kumawat works out of number 29 in Barket Nagar, just off Tonk Road near Tonk Pathak. This area is always moving. There’s a lot of energy around here with the traffic and the shops. Our place is a little bit tucked away from the main noise of Tonk Road, which helps us stay focused. We’ve been in Barket Nagar long enough to remember how it used to look before all the new buildings went up. Shantanu is the one who started all this. It’s a small setup, nothing too fancy. We have a few desks and a lot of coffee. We don’t use any marketing scripts or sales pitches. People come to us because they need something done, and we do it. It’s as simple as that. We’ve had some long days and some short ones, but we always show up. The local tea vendor knows our order by heart now. That’s the kind of place this is. We aren’t trying to reach the whole world. We just want to do right by the people in our own neighborhood. Sometimes the gate sticks a bit when it rains, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the work we do inside is what matters. We’re just regular folks trying to make a go of it. There is always a stray dog or two sleeping near the entrance, and they are part of the scenery here.
