Sagar Gallery

We are situated over in A Block of Vaishali Nagar, right near the National Handloom building. Most people use that as a landmark to find us since everyone knows where it is. It is a decent spot for a business like Sagar Gallery. The mornings are usually pretty slow, so that is when I get most of the cleaning and tidying done. I like to make sure the floor is wiped down and the items on the walls are straight. We have been here for some time now and we have seen the whole area change quite a bit. It used to be much quieter ten years ago. Now there are cars parked everywhere and it is hard to find a space. I spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys who bring our stock. Sometimes they are late because of the traffic on the main road but I do not mind much. I just sit and wait. Customers come in waves. You might have nobody for two hours and then five people walk in at once. It keeps you on your toes. I try to keep things simple and honest. If someone asks for a price, I just tell them what it is. The light in the shop is a bit dim towards the back, so I am thinking about adding another bulb soon. It is just a regular shop doing regular business day after day.
