S M Arts Embrodery

Our place, S M Arts Embrodery, is tucked away at 3898 Chandpole Bazar. We are specifically on Nindar Rao Ji Ka Rasta. If you have ever been to Chandpole Bazar, you know how narrow and winding the lanes are. It is a total maze sometimes, but it is full of life and color. We do embroidery work here, mostly by hand or with small machines. It is very detailed stuff, so we need good light, which can be hard to find in these old buildings. The shop is full of spools of thread in every color you can think of. There are pieces of fabric laid out everywhere on the tables. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of work going on at once. We have been part of this market for a long time now. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we spend our days focused on the patterns and the needles. Sometimes the noise from the bazaar outside is so loud you cannot hear yourself think, but we are used to it. We do not do much in the way of marketing; most people find us just by walking through the Rasta or through word of mouth from other shopkeepers. It is a slow process sometimes, doing this kind of art, but we just keep at it. It is our small corner of the world and we are happy to be here.
