Royal Sweet & Namkeen

We are based at 36 Siddhart Shopping Centre in Malviya Nagar. Royal Sweet & Namkeen has been a part of this shopping center for years. It’s a busy place, especially during festival seasons like Diwali or Holi when everyone wants snacks and sweets. On those days, it gets really crowded and we barely have time to breathe. But on regular days, it’s a bit more relaxed. We spend our mornings making fresh batches of namkeen and arranging the trays. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit tight when more than five or six customers are inside at once. We’ve got a small team, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We don't use any fancy machines; most of what we do is by hand. The floors get sticky sometimes from the sugar syrup, so we are always mopping. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just open the shutters, put the food out, and talk to the regulars who stop by for their daily snacks. It’s a humble way to earn a living in this part of the city. We might not have the fanciest boxes in town, but we make sure everything is fresh. That is just how we’ve always done it since we first opened the doors. It keeps us busy and connected to the people around here.
