Royal Bags

Royal Bags is found at 100 Indra Bazar in Nirman Nagar. The address says Indra Bazar, but we are right there in the Nirman Nagar area which has grown so much lately. Our shop is number 100. It’s a decent sized place, enough to fit some of the larger trolleys and suitcases that people need for traveling. I usually open up around ten in the morning. The first thing I do is sweep the front because the street always has some litter. We have a lot of variety, but I wouldn't say we have everything. I try to keep things that people actually use every day. The counters are old and have some scratches on them from years of moving heavy bags around. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just sit in the dark for a bit, talking to the neighbors. It’s a bit of a break, I guess. We get all kinds of customers, from families planning a trip to office guys needing a new briefcase. I don't use any fancy sales talk. If a bag is good, it’s good. If it’s cheap, I tell them it might not last forever. It’s better to be honest about it. The day usually ends around eight when the market starts to quiet down. It’s a steady life.
