Anand Bag Co

We are located at 426 Chandpole Bazar. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets, especially near the gate. Anand Bag Co isn't a fancy place with bright lights or air conditioning. It’s just a traditional shop where we keep piles of bags stacked up to the ceiling. We have everything from sturdy school bags for the kids to large suitcases for people going on long trips. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for a long time. They know we don't try to push things they don't need. The building is quite old, so the walls have a bit of character, or maybe they just need a bit of paint. Either way, it works for us. My uncle used to run this place, and I took over after he decided to rest. I usually stay here from ten in the morning until late in the evening. The street noise is constant, but inside it feels a bit calmer. We handle a lot of the stock ourselves, moving boxes in and out when the tempo arrives. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when it's hot, but we like being part of the market. There’s always someone to talk to, whether it’s a customer or the guy from the hardware shop across the street. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. It's a living and we're content with how things go.
