Mahalaxmi Bags

I have been sitting here at Mahalaxmi Bags for quite a few years now. Our shop is at S 21 Amrapali Circle, which is a busy part of Vaishali Nagar. Every morning I come in, roll up the shutters, and start by dusting the bags. There is always a lot of dust because of the traffic outside. We have all kinds of stuff here, from small purses to those big travel bags people take on trains. It is not a fancy place with bright lights or anything, just a regular shop with wooden counters. Some days are very quiet and I just sit on the stool watching the cars go by at the circle. Other days, like during school season, it gets a bit hectic with parents looking for backpacks that won't tear in a month. I usually help them find something sturdy. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock in the back. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound that drives me crazy, but you get used to it. My neighbor from the grocery store often comes by for tea in the afternoon. We talk about the market and how things are changing. Running a business here is just a lot of small tasks that fill up the day. I don't really have a big story to tell, just that we are here every day except Sundays.
