My address is 10/839 in Malviya Nagar. It’s a residential part of the area, so it’s mostly houses and small apartment blocks around me. I use a part of my home as an office for the work I do. It’s a quiet street, which is good for when I need to concentrate. I’ve been living and working here for quite some time now. The gate to my place is painted a dull green and it’s a bit rusted at the bottom. Inside, I have a desk that’s usually covered in papers and folders. I don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer the phones, so I do everything myself. Malviya Nagar is a great place to be because everything is so close. If I need a pen or a notebook, I just walk to the end of the block. There’s a vegetable seller who comes by every afternoon with his cart, and the sound of his voice is a regular part of my day. Sometimes the neighborhood cats come into the garden and just sit there watching me work. I don't have any big signs out front. People who need to see me usually just know the house number 10/839. It’s a very low-key way of running things. I like the independence of it. I don’t have to follow a corporate manual, just my own schedule. It’s a honest way to make a living in a nice part of town.
