We are over in Vaishali Nagar, specifically at D-244 on Amraplai Road. This place is usually a bit of a mess because of all the projects we have going on at once. You’ll find bits of wood, scraps of paper, and different paints scattered across the workbenches. It’s a creative space, so it’s never really tidy, which drives some people crazy. We spend our days making things by hand. Sometimes it’s dusty from sanding down a piece, or the air smells like fresh varnish. We don’t have a big showroom; it’s more of a workshop where we actually do the making. People from the neighborhood sometimes pop their heads in to see what’s being built. The light in here is okay in the mornings, but we have to use extra lamps when the sun starts to go down. We’ve got shelves filled with half-finished items and boxes of raw materials we’ve picked up. It’s just a few of us here, and we usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the job feels right. It’s a simple life, focused on using our hands. The road outside can get a bit loud with the local traffic, but once we’re busy with a craft, we don’t notice it much. We just keep at it every day, making sure the pieces get finished eventually without rushing the process too much.
