Pragti Foods

We run Pragti Foods out of Gopalpura. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here in the Gopalara area. We don't have a big factory or any fancy machines. Most of what we do is done by hand or with basic equipment. We deal with food, so our days are mostly about checking ingredients and making sure everything is clean and ready for the next batch. The smell of the food is always in the air. It’s a local business, so we don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working together. We don’t spend money on advertising or marketing. People in Gopalpura know who we are and what we do. We get our supplies from local sources when we can. The work can be quite tiring because we are on our feet for most of the day. We don't have an office with air conditioning; we just keep the windows open to let the air in. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are a lot of orders to finish, but we always manage to get through it. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals other than making sure the food is good and people are happy with what they get. It is just honest, local work. We have been here for a while and we plan to stay right where we are, doing what we know how to do.
