Running a food business out of G1- 552 in the Sitapura Industrial Area means we are always around a lot of noise and activity. It gets really hot in this part of Jaipur, especially in the afternoons when the machines are all running at once. We spend most of our time making sure the food items are packed right and the trucks get loaded without any mistakes. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late to finish up the batches. Paliwal Tulsyan Foods isn't a massive corporation, just a group of people trying to get things done. We have been in this spot for a while now and we know all the other business owners nearby. The floors are usually covered in some kind of dust or ingredients, so we are always sweeping. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We have some workers who have been with us since we moved into Sitapura. We handle the ingredients carefully because that’s the most important part of the whole thing. Sometimes the supply of electricity is a bit tricky, but we manage. We aren't into fancy labels or big advertisements. We just focus on what’s inside the packets and making sure the orders go out on time every single week. It’s a lot of routine, but we like it that way. It keeps the business going and everyone busy. The days are long but we get through it.
