Pinks Achar Bhandar

Pinks Achar Bhandar is located at 299 Chandpole Bazar, and we have been making and selling pickles here for quite a while. The shop is small and it’s always filled with the scent of spices and oil. We have rows of big jars on the shelves, each one full of different kinds of achar like mango, lemon, or green chili. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually find one of us sitting here among the jars. Chandpole is a very crowded market, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We don't use any chemicals or big machines; we just do things the way they’ve always been done in our house. My clothes usually end up smelling like turmeric by the time I go home. Customers come in and ask for a taste before they buy, which is fine with us. We have regulars who come from the other side of the city just to get their favorite spicy mix. Some days it gets so busy that we can barely keep up with the weighing and packing. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big marketing plan. We just rely on the fact that people like the way our pickles taste. It’s a noisy, spicy, and busy life here in the bazar, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. That is the story of our little shop, and we hope to keep it going for more years.
