We have been right here in this spot for a long time, serving the people who come to shop in Johari Bazar. Our shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. The shelves are usually stacked with whatever we prepared fresh that morning. It’s a lot of work getting everything ready before the main market opens up. We use a lot of traditional methods and you won't find any modern fancy gadgets in our kitchen. It’s just us, the ingredients, and the heat. The name of the street, Gheewalon Ka Rasta, kind of tells you what to expect around here. There is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and shoppers outside. People often stop by while they are busy with their own errands to grab something small. We don't really have a place for people to sit down for long, it's more of a place where you get what you need and move on. We just try to keep things consistent so people know what they are getting every time they visit. It’s a hard day’s work but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the bazar. It’s been our way of life for years.
