We are tucked away at 127, Haldiyon Ka Rasta, right in the heart of Johari Bazar. If you’ve ever walked through those lanes, you know it’s a bit of a maze with all the shops and people moving about. Om Shri Antique Jewelry is where we spend our hours. We’ve stayed in this old building for quite a while now. The walls are thick, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it has character. We deal with antique-style pieces, the kind of jewelry that looks like it has a story behind it. It’s not the bright, mass-produced stuff. Most of our work involves sitting at small desks with specialized tools, working on intricate designs. The lighting inside isn't always perfect, but we know where everything is. Johari Bazar is a loud place, with vendors calling out and scooters squeezing through the gaps, but inside our shop, it’s a bit calmer. We usually have a pot of tea going for anyone who drops by. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or by wandering down the lane. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it suits us just fine. We appreciate the old ways of making things. It takes longer, but we think the results are worth the extra time and effort we put in.
