Nobel Arts is situated at 312/6 on Valmiki Marg, right in the Pushpawali area of Raja Park. This neighborhood has a specific feel to it, and we have become part of the furniture over the years. We do a lot of different artistic work here. It is not a sterile gallery or anything like that. It is more of a workshop where things are actually being made. There are usually scraps of material on the floor and half-finished projects sitting on the counters. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know what we are doing. People often stop by just to see what is being worked on. Valmiki Marg is a decent place to be, though parking can be a bit of a problem if you are coming by car. We have had the same sign out front for a long time, and it has started to fade a bit in the sun. Inside, the walls are covered with sketches and notes we have made. It is a bit disorganized, but we have our own system. We do not follow a strict corporate schedule; if a project needs extra time, we stay until it is finished. It is quiet in the mornings, which is when I like to get the most work done. By the afternoon, Raja Park gets busy and there is a lot more noise coming in through the windows. It is just a normal, working art shop.
